A C-123 sprays defoliant over the target area in South Vietnam during project Pink Rose.

During the Pink Rose test program areas near Tay Ninh and An Loc were sprayed with defoliation agents twice and a drying agent before ten flights of three B-52’s each dropped 42 M-35 incendiary cluster bombs per aircraft into the target area. The resultant fire burned the heavy growth as well as any hidden enemy fortifications.
