Navy P-3 Orion aircraft conducted long-range surveillance of the sea approaches to South Vietnam as part of operation Market Time.

The P-3s flew from several bases including Cam Ranh Bay and Tan Son Nhut in South Vietnam, U-Tapao in Thailand and Sangley Point in the Philippines.
