A USAF OV-10 Bronco with an external fuel tank (drop tank) and armed with marker rockets acts as a Forward Air Controller (FAC) in support of a SOG Recon Team.

A turboprop-driven airplane, the OV-10 had a top speed of approximately 281 mph. It could also be fitted with various armaments for use a light strike aircraft, with four M60 machine guns and fourteen high-explosive rockets as a fairly typical configuration.

OV-10s were employed by the USAF in Vietnam and by the U.S. Navy, whose Light Attack Squadron Four (the "Black Ponies") provided air support to naval forces in the Mekong Delta.
