The mark 133 model 2 chain charge was used by
UDT
/
SEAL
teams in Vietnam for, among other things, clearance work of canals and waterways along the Mekong Delta.
Inflating or deflating a
flotation bladder
within the bag's rear pocket adjusted the depth of the charge, which was held in the bag's main pocket. The haversack was also equipped with two metal hooks and a rope that could be tied to the obstruction it was to blow up.
