Issued as a supplement to the PG-21 Pocket Guide, A Marine's Guide To The Republic of Vietnam contained information on the history and combatants of the war as well as details of living in-country. Three versions of the guide (Marine Corps Bulletin 3480) were produced during the war:

1966 (52 pages - monochrome cover)
1967 (74 pages - redesigned cover with color EGA and Fleet Marine Force Pacific insignia)
1968 (Vietnam Service and Vietnam Campaign Medal ribbons added to the cover)
