Dinassaut
Divisions Navales D'assaut (Naval Assault Division)
The French Dinassaut units operated along the rivers and waterways of Indochina throughout the war and played a significant role during the battles for the Red River Delta in 1951. Each unit typically consisted of 12 to 18 amored and unarmored river craft that provided both fire support and troop transportation.
