VNMC
Vietnamese Marine Corps
The VNMC was created in October 1954 from of the commando units of the Naval Assault Division (
Dinassaut). Advised and assisted by the USMC, the Vietnamese Marine Corps grew from approximately 2,000 men at its inception to over 15,000 by 1973.
