The M69 vest improved upon the M1952A design with the addition of a 3/4 inch collar and did away with the original epaulets. Like its predecessor it was fabricated from 12 piles of ballistic nylon, had grenade hangers over both cargo pockets, a pen compartment inside the left pocket and adjustable elastic draw cords on each side.
