Designed as a liner for the Nylon Medical Instrument and Supply Set case No. 8, the insert served as a container for the Individual First Aid Kit. Made from olive drab plastic, it measured 4-3/4 inches Long by 2-3/8 inches Wide by 4-1/2 inches High. When issued in August 1969, the first aid kit consisted of:
