Seawolf Detachment 6 Flag

Helicopter Attack (Light) Squadron Three (the "Seawolves") provided air support for operation Game Warden, the surveillance and interdiction of Viet Cong activity in the Mekong Delta. One of nine Seawolf detachments, Det 6 was activated in 1967. This Det 6 flag was given to three-tour veteran Bill Rutledge in 1972 by Gunner AE2 Barry Grinstead.
