Australian Raincoat
The
Australian
Army’s Lightweight Tropical Smock was lighter than either the U.S. Army issued
parka
or
poncho
and soon became poplar with Special Forces troops in Vietnam as a result. Made in the Aussie's two-color camouflage, it could be folded into its breast pocket for easy storage and boasted the following features:
Front and back yoke air vents
Ventilated mesh armpits
Two flap covered pass-through pockets
Two pen pockets on the upper left sleeve
Two button cuffs
Hem drawstring
