M16A1 Rifle Care and Preventive Maintenance

The 1969 DA Pam 750-30 Care and Preventive Maintenance manual gave illustrated instructions on how best to clean and care for the M16A1 rifle. When first issued in Vietnam the M16 was plagued by problems caused by grunts failing to keep it sufficiently clean.
