75th Ranger (Infantry) Beret

When the 75th Ranger companies were formalized the black beret became the accepted, though not official, standard Ranger headgear. Officers wore the Ranger tab above their rank insignia, whilst other ranks typically wore the their parachutist badge above their distinctive regimental insignia.
