M14 Rifle Magazine

The magazine for the M14 rifle was made from steel, weighed approximately 9 ounces and held 20 rounds of 7.62mm ammunition. A variety of pouches were produced for carrying M14 magazines (Universal Ammunition Pouch, M1961 pocket, USMC M1967 pocket etc.), though riflemen in Vietnam also often used bandoleers and canteen covers etc.
