The nylon M1967 pouch replaced the M1956 version and was used for carrying either a bandage or a lensatic compass . Like its' predecessor it had a drain hole and a single slide keeper on the back that was used to attach it to either the pistol belt or the web keeper on top of the padded portion of the suspenders.
