The Marine Corps WWII era straight back design cotton suspenders were only one-inch wide and had no shoulder padding. The four front belt supports had hook ends, whilst the rear straps terminated with snap hooks. The suspenders were worn in an X formation with various belts and the numerous configurations of the USMC's M1941 pack system. They were produced into the late 1960's, until the introduction of the USMC M1967 system.
