M18A1 Claymore Mine Bag

The Claymore Mine Bag - officially known as the M7 Bandoleer – was made from olive drab water resistant canvas and was used to carry the
M18A1 Apers Mine
and its accessories. The mine was stored in one pocket, whilst the other pocket housed the firing device, test set and blasting cap assembly. The bag also featured a 2-inch wide shoulder strap and an instruction sheet was sewn inside the flap. Once the mine had been detonated soldiers in Vietnam often used the bandoleer to carry extra
